Safe Toddles appreciates your business. We have made every effort to ensure our pediatric belt cane product fulfills your expectation of quality and durability. The following warranty is extended to the original purchaser with original proof of purchase.

Belt: Lifetime Limited Warranty

    The original fabric under normal use and conditions is warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects. The mushroom head fastener, under normal use and conditions, are warranted against breakage due to defective material or workmanship. Lifetime means the normal useful life of the product; customarily seven (7) years. After one (1) year from the date of purchase, the warranty covers replacement parts only, and the original purchaser will be responsible for labor. Damage due to chemical treatments applied by the retailer or consumer, heavy soiling or improper cleaning will void this warranty.

 

Standard/Specialty frames: Limited Warranty

    The frame under normal use and conditions, is warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Please do not confuse surface scratches for resiliency. Rods will scratch through normal use. This is normal and is not considered a defect. Damage due to chemical treatments applied by the retailer or consumer, heavy soiling or improper cleaning will void this warranty.

 

3D printed handles/tips: Limited Warranty

   3D printed filament, steel sheet, ball bearings, nylon spacers and screws are warranted against defective material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase under normal use and care. Fading, wearing quality and color fastness are not covered by this warranty. Damage due to leaving belt canes inside cars in hot weather, chemical treatments applied by the retailer or consumer, heavy soiling or improper cleaning will void this warranty. 

 

Magnet and magnet receptacles: Limited Warranty

    The magnet and magnet receptacles in belts are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Improper handling, care or abuse of them will void the warranty.

 

The Pediatric Belt Cane (Toddler Cane): Limited Warranty

    The Pediatric Belt Cane (Toddler Cane) is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase [the life of the original consumer purchaser]. This warranty (i) excludes defects, damage or other conditions caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, freight damage, tampering or failure to seek and obtain repair or replacement in a timely manner and (ii) is Safe Toddles’ only warranty.

 

ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.

 

IN NO EVENT SHALL SAFE TODDLES BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR TO ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR OTHERWISE RELATING TO THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS PRODUCT, WHETHER BASED ON BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY SEEKING RECOVERY FOR ECONOMIC LOSSES OR DAMAGES, EVEN IF SAFE TODDLES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF OR IS OTHERWISE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OR LIKELIHOOD OF SUCH LOSSES OR DAMAGES.

SUCH EXCLUDED LOSSES OR DAMAGES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, INCREASED EXPENSES, DELAY COSTS OR COST OF ANY SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS.
